Test Score Consideration for First-year Applicants

If a student has a weighted GPA below 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale), they will be required to self-report a minimum ACT score of 17 or an SAT score of 930 on your application. Upon admission, they will need to provide an official score that matches that self-reported score after they confirm their enrollment to App State. The CLT exam will not fulfil this requirement.

If a student have a weighted GPA of 2.8 or above (on a 4.0 scale),  they will be required to indicate whether or not they plan to submit SAT, ACT or CLT scores for consideration in the admission review process.
