What’s next? 

• Connect with us! We understand a spring admission offer can come with many questions. Connect with your counselor during a one-on-one to discuss your questions.

• Your first step is to accept your spring offer by August 1 in your MyMountaineer Portal.

• If you accept your offer, you will need to confirm your enrollment between August 15 and October 1 to maintain your spot in the spring class.

• After confirming your spring enrollment, you will receive an email asking if you have chosen to enroll at a college for the fall semester. Complete this, and if your plans change, keep us informed.

• Although it is not a requirement, we recommend that you stay on track to gaining your bachelor’s degree by enrolling at a local community college during the fall semester. Review our transition advice to make sure that each course you take counts towards your major at Appalachian. It is expected that you complete your fall semester in good academic standing to maintain your admission for spring.

• Continue to check your MyMountaineer portal for the most up-to-date information on your application. Once you confirmed your enrollment, you’ll have enrollment steps posted throughout the fall to prepare you for spring at Appalachian. These include but are not limited to fall transcripts, medical forms, immunization information, orientation, housing, etc.
