Appalachian is a Best Value
Repeatedly cited as a best value by Forbes magazine, Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine and other publications, Appalachian offers an outstanding education at a great price. Our out-of-state rates are comparable with many states' in-state tuition rates.
Even with low tuition, cost is a major concern for many families. Appalachian offers financial aid, student employment and scholarships (need and merit-based) to help keep a college education within reach. Sixty-seven percent of Appalachian students receive some form of financial aid.
Estimated undergraduate expenses for the 2013-14 academic year are listed below. Visit the Office of Student Accounts for details including graduate, part-time and per-class costs.
