The library at Appalachian State University is an increible building for studying, designing, creating projects, recording audio and video, renting books and learning about the history of the university. For me, it is the best place to study on campus. In addition, it also has a lot of areas to hangout in between classes. Our library is located in the heart of campus, and it has a lot of space for everyone. It also has a knowledgeable group of librarians that can help find information for research papers and other projects.
On the first floor, you can find many computers to work on. It also has lounge space for people to hangout as well. A great feature of the first floor is the coffee shop. Many students buy coffee late at night while studying for finals or midterms. The second floor is for group studies. On this floor, you are able to talk to one another. The area has many large tables for groups to sit together and work on homework assignments. The third floor is the quiet floor, and also my favorite floor. This area is designated for silent study, so talking is not allowed. Our library also has rooms you can reserve online. This is helpful when you want to work on projects or study with groups. Finally, on the basement, there are many technological tools that help students in their work. This is also the place where you can rent a laptop or even a camera.
For me, the library is the best place to study. Sometimes I study on the second floor with friends, but I like to study better by myself on the third floor. It works differently for everyone, but our library offers everything you need for a good study session for your exams.
