Different usernames and passwords are required to complete all your enrollment tasks. Here is a list to help keep them all straight. If you forgot your password or have a question about it, please contact the appropriate person in our contact list.

MyApp Account

Unless you’ve changed it, use the username and password that were assigned to you. Forgot your myApp username and password?

AppalNet - Appalachian Email Account

• How it is used:  AppalNet is use to check and send email, register for classes, check your financial aid status, get news and personal announcements, review your class schedule and grades, review your appcard balances, communicate with your professors, pay your student account bill, view transcripts, and more.
• When Assigned: You will receive your email account information in the mail about 2 weeks after you receive your admission decision letter.
• Username: Your official Appalachian username is your last name and initials (example: smithab)
• Password: You will create your own secure password using the Password Manager (https://password.appstate.edu). You will need your Appalachian Username and University Identification Number (Banner ID)--both are included in the account information sent to your home (see "When Assigned" above).
